Buchanan Galleries

The Burrell Collection
In the heart of Pollok Country Park is this collection of art, including work by Degas, Rodin and Cézanne as well as ancient and medieval artefacts. It is named after shipping tycoon Sir William Burrell who amassed much of its collection of over 8,000 objects in his own lifetime.
The Clydeside Distillery
Historic scotch maker with group tours and a bottle shop, as well as a cafe with Scottish food paired with whisky. Housed in the old Pump House that once controlled the flow of goods into bustling Queen's Dock, the Clydeside Distillery began making its Lowland single malt in 2017. Owned by Morrison Glasgow Distillers, set up by Tim Morrison of Morrison Bowmore Distillers and AD Rattray Scotch Whisky Company, the distillery's visitor experience features the history of whisky and the Clyde dockside as well as a tour of the still house with views down the river, and drams in the tasting room....
Emirates Arena
The world-class facilities at Emirates Arena are second to none. This purpose-built main venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games houses one of the largest gyms in Glasgow. Work out overlooking the Velodrome, book classes in the custom-built fitness studios, and be inspired by the amazing events which take place here.
Escape Reality Glasgow
An immersive escape room game. In one hour, you could find yourself locked in a prison trying to escape from the infamous Alcatraz, or attempting to escape to save your own lives in Enigmista. Escape Reality have 30 themed escape rooms in 10 locations around the world. One hour, one goal, escape.

Gallery of Modern Art
Located on Royal Exchange Square, in William Cunninghame of Lainshaw's imposing 1778 townhouse, the Gallery of Modern Art's monumentalism is offset by the traffic cone that's usually perched on the head of the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington located out front. The Gallery hosts major exhibitions by 20th and 21st century artists, and is the most-visited modern art gallery in the country. Besides its major collection of modern art, the gallery has a lending library full of books on art and design.
Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Glasgow Botanic Gardens is a botanical garden located in the West End of Glasgow beside the River Kelvin. It features several glasshouses, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace. Just minutes from the city, enjoy pleasant riverside walks, peaceful woodland copses and explore exotic tropical places. There is a Heritage Trail through the gardens with almost 30 points of interest taking you down to the Kelvin Walkway and the Gardens Arboretum.
