How can I join?

Membership of Advance is available to the following ScotRail customer groups:

1. ScotRail Season Ticket holders.
2. ScotRail Flexipass Ticket holders.
3. ScotRail First Class Ticket holders.
4. Caledonian Sleeper customers.

You can join Advance in a number of different ways:

1. Complete the on-line application form, and submit your application via the ScotRail website.
2. Click here to download an application form. Complete it and return it to the free post address shown.
3. Complete an application form within the Commuting or Caledonian Sleeper ticket guide at a staffed ScotRail station and return it to the free post address shown.

Advance Terms & Conditions

1. Membership of Advance is available to ScotRail Season Ticket holders, Flexipass Ticket holders, First Class Ticket holders and Caledonian Sleeper customers meeting the following qualifying criteria.
2. To join Advance applicants have to be aged 18 or over at the time of application.
3. Season Ticket holders must hold a valid Season Ticket at the time of application which is valid for a period of between a week and 12 months. Strathclyde Zonecard holders are not eligible for Advance membership.
4. Flexipass Ticket holders must hold a valid ScotRail 10 journey, 50 journey or Caledonian Sleeper Flexipass at the time of application.
5. First Class Ticket holders must specify the ticket number from their most recent qualifying First Class rail journey,valid between any 2 stations in Scotland, except Dunbar and Lockerbie which are not served by ScotRail, in the previous 6 months. Qualifying First Class rail tickets are First Class Singles or Returns. Other First Class tickets including Weekend First and Club 55 Premier are not eligible for Advance membership.
6. Caledonian Sleeper customers must specify the ticket number from their most recent qualifying Caledonian Sleeper journey valid for travel in the previous 12 months. qualifying tickets are Caledonian Sleeper First Class Anytime, Standard classAnytime and Advance, Multi City and Flexipass tickets.  Other tickets, including Bargain Berths and supplements do not qualify.
7. Please allow up to 28 days for receipt of your joining pack.
8. The members pages of the Advance website are password controlled and to access them applicants must register both an email address and password when applying for Advance membership to access the website.
9. ScotRail reserve the right to refuse an application or terminate a membership.
