First ScotRail and First Glasgow are joining forces to offer a new through ticketing opportunity from Partick to Glasgow Airport, via the Southern General Hospital, Ikea Glasgow, Braehead Shopping Centre/Xscape and Renfrew Cross.
It will offer rail travel on services to Partick, with onward travel on First Glasgow service 747, as well as in the reverse direction.
When buying your rail ticket, just ask for a Glasgow Airport bus link ticket via Partick. Through fares under the terms of this scheme will cost the appropriate rail fare to Glasgow, plus:
Returns can be compiled with Standard Day Return, Cheap Day Return, Standard Open Return, Saver and SuperSaver, excluding promotional tickets (e.g. Club 55) and group tickets such as GroupSave, Friends Fare and Family Fundays.
Child tickets are available at 50% of adult price. Other Railcard discounts are applicable to the rail element only.
Travel is valid on rail services to Partick, with onward travel to/from Glasgow Airport on the First Glasgow 747 service. Travel may be in either direction.
Passengers have a simple interchange at Partick where the bus and train stations sit adjacent to each other.
