We welcome rail enthusiasts to our stations who want to take photographs. The photos should be for private purposes or for publication in relevant magazines*, and it’s important for you to follow our guidelines to help you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Please print them out and take them with you when at our stations.

If you work for a TV or film companies and you’re looking for permission to film on ScotRail premises, you can apply using this form. Please note that a minimum of 28 days notice is required.

*Enthusiast photographers can take photographs at stations for private purposes and provided they are not sold except to enthusiast magazines. You are not allowed to take photographs of security-related equipment, such as CCTV cameras.
