When can I travel?
- You can travel on a range of services seven days a week.
- Your Friends Fare ticket is only valid for the train journeys shown on your ticket.
- Return travel is valid for one month from the date of outward travel.
- Both outward and return travel must be booked at time of purchase.
- All members of the group must travel together on both the outward and return journeys.
Which routes can I travel on?
- Available for Standard Class travel on the following routes:
- Aberdeen to Inverness
- Aberdeen to Edinburgh/Glasgow
- Inverness to Edinburgh/Glasgow
- Available on ScotRail services only.
Do I need to book in advance? √
- Friends Fare must be booked no later than 6.00pm the day before travel.
