ScotRail is delighted to announce a further partnership to bring the benefits of discounted cycle hire to rail customers. We have teamed up with cycle hire company Ticket to Ride to offer some great deals allowing rail travellers to get into the saddle for less, and explore the magnificent scenery of the Scottish Highlands around Inverness and beyond. From the nearby Culbin Forest to the Great Glen Way to Fort William, there are lots of routes and destinations you can explore on your own or with family and friends.
A 10% discount on cycle hire is available on production of a valid rail ticket, with a 15% discount available to holders of the Freedom of Scotland Travepass. Even better news is that our partners at Ticket to Ride will bring your bike to meet you when your train arrives at Inverness, Nairn or Forres stations, at no extra charge . Your cycle can also be brought to selected other stations in the Highlands including Dingwall, Elgin and Aviemore, with reduced rates applying for rail ticket holders. All you need to do to hire a bike is call Ticket to Ride on 07902 242 301, giving at least 4 hours notice - and remember to hold on to your rail ticket to get your discount.
