New through bus-rail ticket to Westhill

ScotRail has teamed up with Stagecoach in the North East to offer a combined bus and train ticket to Westhill, near Aberdeen. Westhill is outside of the Aberdeen PlusBus zone and it is not currently possible to buy integrated rail and bus tickets. Frequent bus services run between Westhill and Aberdeen and there are frequent trains from Aberdeen to many destinations across the north east and beyond, including Dyce, Elgin, Inverness, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. A new station has also now opened at Laurencekirk between Montrose and Stonehaven offering frequent links into Aberdeen.

Frequent buses for Westhill depart from Union Square Bus Station, just a short distance away from Aberdeen station. The Aberdeen-Westhill bus route has also been the subject of improvements over recent years including enhanced frequencies with buses operating every 15 minutes, and providing modern easy access buses. Just ask at the station for a ticket to "Westhill Bus"
