Buy your train ticket at St Andrews!

ScotRail is delighted to announce that we've installed at railway ticket issuing system at St Andrews Bus Station in Fife. This innovation means that passengers turning up at the bus station can now buy train tickets to destinations across the UK as if it were just another rail station - so, for example, if you buy a ticket from St Andrews to Edinburgh, this will allow you to travel on the connecting bus to Leuchars, then onward by train to Edinburgh - no need to buy separate tickets when you get to the train station! As far as we know this is the first time that a rail ticket machine has been installed at a bus station in Scotland, and we think it will prove popular with local people, tourists and with the large student population in St Andrews.
