First ScotRail was a double winner at the prestigious HSBC Rail Business Awards in London on 27 February 2008.

Mary Grant, Managing Director of First ScotRail, was named Rail Business Manager of the Year and a campaign aimed at encouraging more people to take the train for days out around Scotland – and leaving the car at home – won the Rail Marketing award.

First ScotRail was also "highly commended" in the Train Operator of the Year category.
