Passengers travelling to Blair Atholl now have even more opportunity to take in the breathtaking local scenery, thanks to a great new partnership. ScotRail has teamed up with Blair Atholl cycle hire business, Basecamp Bikes, to provide rail customers with a chance to hire bicycles at discounted rates.  Customers simply need to show their valid rail ticket on arrival at Basecamp Bikes’ premises at The Firs Guest House just a short walk from Blair Atholl Station. The glens of Highland Perthshire stretch deep into the hills that form the approach to the Cairngorm National Park, and offer a variety of itineraries to suit all ages and energies. 

A 10% discount is available for a full or half-day hire, with a trial 20% discount for holders of the Freedom of Scotland Travelpass. With summer in full swing, there isn’t a better time to get out into the fresh air and enjoy a full day or two in the saddle.
