Free wifi is available across many of our popular stations and train routes, helping you keep up to speed while you're on the move.
Connecting is simple, just make sure wifi is enabled on your device, look for the ScotRail network and follow the login instructions on screen. After that you're free to browse at your leisure.
To give you the best service we can, we use available signals from all mobile providers, including 4G when possible. This does mean that when you're travelling, the mobile strength can vary and you might occasionally get limited or no access.
We want to provide bandwidth for everyone so streaming, on-demand TV, and other heavy bandwidth activities might be blocked when you're using wifi on our train services. To be fair to all our customers, including children, access to adult-themed content is also restricted.
Our plan is to make sure every station and train route has free wifi access, but for now you can enjoy wifi in 52 stations and on 18 different train routes across the ScotRail network. Look out for our Wifi Zone stickers.
