From 11 January to 7 February 2012, if you spend £15 or more at a Sainsbury’s store in Scotland (or £5 in a Sainsbury's local store) you will receive a Scotland by Rail voucher.
This voucher entitles you to purchase up to two of the following tickets in one transaction:
- £19 flat fare anywhere in Scotland;
- £19 flat fare anywhere in Scotland plus free travel for one child (5-15 years).
Outward travel is valid from 11 January until 31 March 2012 inclusive. Return travel is valid for one month from your outward travel date.
Monday to Friday you can travel on all services except:
- Those arriving into Glasgow Queen Street, Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket, Dundee or Aberdeen before 0930;
- Those departing Glasgow Queen Street, Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley or Haymarket between 1642 and 1809;
- The 1815 Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street and 1815 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley services.
At the weekend you can travel on all services except:
- East Coast services on Sundays between Aberdeen and Edinburgh, in both directions, including intermediate stations.
How to buy your tickets
Once you have collected your Sainsbury’s Scotland by Rail voucher, you can buy your tickets:
- Online from the link below by entering the promotional code on your voucher.
- From any staffed ScotRail station by handing over part 2 of your voucher(the yellow part).
- From Telesales on 08457 55 00 33 by quoting the promotional code on your voucher.
- Please remember to retain the first part of the voucher. You MUST carry this part of the voucher with you when travelling to validate your ticket.
