Due to a burst water main near the railway between Kirkhill and Newton Lanark the line is closed. Disruption is expected until 12:00 21/02.
    Impact:
Train services between Glasgow Central and Newton Lanark via Kings Park will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Burnside. Kirkhill will not be served.
    Additional Information:
Scottish Water have a burst water mains at Kirkhill which is resulting in water running down a bridge over the railway and then directly onto the overhead lines at Kirkhill station. The flow of the water has caused some masonry to become dislodged and we are therefore unable to operate our trains to/from Kirkhill station. Staff will remain onsite throughout the night carrying out further work, however for start of service on Wednesday morning our contingency plan will remain in place with the Glasgow Central to Newton services terminating and starting back from Burnside station.
