    Following a fault with the signalling system at Newton Lanark all lines are now open. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
    Impact:
    Train services between Newton Lanark and Glasgow Central via Kirkhill will be started from Burnside.
    Additional Information:
    We have had a major signalling problem in the Newton area this afternoon but our staff have carried out a repair and fixed the fault so that we can start signalling trains through this area. Unfortunately, due to the severity of disruption ongoing, services are expected to be disrupted throughout the evening peak.

    Due to a burst water main near the railway between Kirkhill and Newton Lanark the line is closed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
    Impact:
    Train services between Glasgow Central and Newton Lanark via Kings Park will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Burnside. Kirkhill will not be served.
    Additional Information:
    Scottish Water have a burst water mains at Kirkhill which is resulting in water running down a bridge over the railway and then directly onto the overhead lines at Kirkhill station. The flow of the water has caused some masonry to become dislodged and we are therefore unable to operate our trains to/from Kirkhill station. Staff have been onsite throughout the night and remain there carrying out further work and we will continue to keep you up to date with their progress.

    Impact:
    Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Falkirk Grahamston are returning to normal but some services will still be delayed or revised.
    Additional Information:
    We have had a signalling problem between Croy and Larbert this afternoon but our staff have carried out a repair and fixed the fault so that we can start signalling our train services normally again.
    Unfortunately, we still have an ongoing issue with the signalling in the Greenhill area which is affecting our Queen St to Falkirk Grahamston Services, which are suspended, and the Dumbarton Central to Cumbernauld services which will terminate and start back from Springburn. Rail replacement transport will convey passengers between Springburn and Cumbernauld.

    Impact:

    We have had a signalling problem between Croy and Larbert this afternoon but our staff have carried out a repair and fixed the fault so that we can start signalling our train services normally again.
