Access changes for Let's Ride Glasgow on 26 August

Last updated: Wednesday, 29 August 2018

Glasgow City Council is closing roads across Glasgow to accommodate Let's Ride Glasgow on Sunday 26 August.

While ScotRail train services will be running as normal, there will be temporary changes to the 398 bus service that runs between Glasgow Central, Glasgow Queen Street, and Buchanan Bus Station.

To help your journey run smoothly, we are asking anyone who needs to travel on the bus between Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street on Sunday 26 August to consider booking assistance in advance .

Passengers who do not require assistance should make the short walk to the temporary bus stop or walk between the two stations instead.

Details of changes

If you’re wanting to go between Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central, the 398 can be accessed from a designated stop outside the ‘Wagamamas’ restaurant on West George Street.

Passengers with assistance travelling to/from Glasgow Queen Street by taxi should use the temporary disabled pick-up/drop-off rank on West George Street.

Station staff will be on-hand at Glasgow Queen Street to walk passengers who need assistance to the bus pick-up point and taxi rank.

There are no changes to the pick up/drop off point at Glasgow Central or Buchanan Bus Station.
