ScotRail is offering customers the chance to enjoy Christmas in the city for less than the price of a cup of coffee, following the launch of two new Advance fares.
Whether it’s for Christmas shopping, lunches, or even a night out, customers can now travel to Edinburgh for as little as £2.50, or to Glasgow from £3.00 – less than the price of a gingerbread latte!
ScotRail’s new Advance single fares between North Berwick and Edinburgh, and between Ayr and Glasgow Central provide customers with a saving of up to 70 per cent compared to an Anytime Day Single ticket, and are available to book now, with travel from 12 December onwards.
The tickets are valid with Kids for a Quid too, meaning the whole family can enjoy a day out in the city this Christmas for less.
Available all year round, tickets can be purchased up to 12 weeks before travel. A limited number of tickets will be available for each fare, so customers who are able to book in advance will receive the biggest discount.
Customers can buy their tickets from any of the usual ScotRail retail channels, including downloading an mTicket to the ScotRail app, so they couldn’t be easier to purchase.
