We hope everyone has been enjoying the recent spell of warm weather.
The Met Office predicts temperatures will rise over the weekend, before beginning to cool early next week.
As the temperature rises, please remember these top tips:
- Stay hydrated and drink lots of water
- Don't board the train if you feel unwell
- If you feel unwell, make yourself known to a member of our team straight away - if you're at an unstaffed station, use the Station Help Point
- Have fun
- Stay safe
Warm weather also brings the risk of anti-social behaviour. This weekend, we're supporting the #AyrshireSaferShores initiative and our teams will be out across the country, supporting British Transport Police, to tackle anti-social behaviour.
As part of this, alcohol bans are in place on all trains between Glasgow Central and Ayr.
