Introducing our NCR&R Tour

Last updated: Wednesday 11 May 2022

The North Coast of Scotland is one of the most beautiful parts of our country to discover, proven by the number of people that visit each year to drive the famous NC500 route.

But when the scenery is so spectacular, why would you choose to drive and miss out on being able to enjoy the views?

That’s why we’re delighted to unveil our North Coast Rail and Road Tour, ensuring that you get the chance to savour every single delight of northern Scotland while someone else does the driving.

During the five-day tour you will travel by both train and minicoach, allowing you to discover as much of these outstanding areas as possible. One of the greatest advantages of taking the train is that it can reach unique wilderness areas that aren’t accessible any other way, giving you a truly memorable experience. You will travel along two of Scotland’s Great Scenic Rail Journeys – Inverness to Wick and Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverness, which both offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. And between Wick and Kyle of Lochalsh, your transport will be a 16-seater minicoach, taking you along the stunning NC500 route with stops along the way to give you time to truly absorb the magnificent views.

By choosing to experience the north coast in this way, you’re not only giving yourself the best opportunity to relax and enjoy the views, but you’re making a much more sustainable travel choice too.
