Celebrating its 15th year of bringing world-class comedy to the city, we're proud to be supporting the Glasgow Live International Comedy Festival, returning on Thursday 9 March until Sunday 26 March.

Glasgow will play host to an incredible 480 shows, appearing in 50 venues old and new during the festival’s 18 day run, showcasing top comedy stars from around the UK and beyond, complemented by the very best of home-grown Scottish talent.

Top Comedy Stars

2017’s festival features performances from household names like Jimmy Carr, Al Murray, Stewart lee, Russel Howard, Bridget Christie, Omid Djalili, Reg D Hunter, Sue Perkins and Frankie Boyle and friends; and shows from some of the biggest acts on the UK circuit including Richard Herring, John Shuttleworth, Josie Long, Simon Munnery and David O’Doherty.

Home-grown talent

The festival had a reputation of showcasing the very best in local talent and 2017 is no exception - Fred MacAulay, Des Clarke, Craig Hill, Susan Calman, Mark Nelson, Janey Godley, Iain Connell and Robert Florence are lined up alongside the rising stars of Scotland’s world renowned comedy scene, including Richard Gadd, Fern Brady, Darren Connell, Ashley Storrie, Scott Gibson, Larry Dean, Scott Agnew and Jamie Dalgleish.
