Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum

Armadale Castle

Immerse yourself in Highland history at the former ancestral seat of the Macdonalds of Sleat. In our museum, trace the history of the Highlands & Islands through the story of Clan Donald, Scotland’s largest and most powerful clan. Explore magnificent gardens around the ruins of Armadale Castle, and enjoy stunning sea and mountain views.

Kids will have fun with museum trails, dressing up and regular activity sessions. There’s also an extensive outdoor playpark and lots of space to run around. Café and shops on site.
