Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Morpeth, closing various lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Morpeth and Edinburgh. Please be aware you may have to change buses to complete your journey.

LNER:

A hourly rail service will run between Newcastle and Scotland via Carlisle. Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh calling at Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Dunbar.

TransPennine Express:

All day Saturday and Sunday morning

No train services will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh. Train services between Liverpool Lime Street and Edinburgh will run between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle only.

ScotRail:

Buses replace trains between North Berwick / Dunbar and Edinburgh.
