There’s free Wi-Fi on many of our trains, and in lots of stations too.
Connecting is simple. Check that Wi-Fi is enabled on your device, look for the ScotRail network and follow the login instructions on screen. After that you're free to browse at your leisure.
We use signals from all mobile providers, including 4G when possible. This means that when you're travelling, the mobile strength can vary and you might occasionally get limited or no access.

So that everyone can use the free Wi-Fi, we ask you not to stream, watch on-demand TV, or do anything else that uses lots of bandwidth. Adult-themed content is restricted.
Where to find free Wi-Fi
Eventually, we plan to have free Wi-Fi in every station and on all train routes. For now you can enjoy free Wi-Fi in over 50 stations and on 18 different train routes across the ScotRail network. Look out for our Wi-Fi Zone stickers.
