Solheim Cup

We are proud to sponsor the 2019 Solheim Cup as the Official Train Partner for spectators.

Solheim CupThe Solheim Cup is the Pinnacle of Woman’s Golf, with the best players from Europe and the USA going head-to-head. It’s set to be one of the highlights of the world’s sporting calendar this year.

From 9 - 15 September 2019, the iconic venue of Gleneagles plays host as The Solheim Cup returns to Scotland, the ‘Home of Golf’, for the first time since 2000.

The event is not only about the world-class competition on the course, but promises to be a festival of entertainment, activity and fun, with something for everyone.

From Glenagles station, it’s a short walk via the temporary footbridge straight to the course.

We’re slightly altering our timetable so more services will stop at Gleneagles, as well as running extra trains, allowing more opportunities to travel straight to the heart of the action. Extra staff will be on hand and there will be a temporary walking bridge over the A9 to provide a direct walking route from Gleneagles station.
