Check In Pilot

ScotRail and CalMac Ferries are working with the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland to trial a voluntary check-in service as part of Test and Protect.

Check In Scotland helps collect passenger details safely and securely, online. It’s fast, free and fully integrated with NHS Scotland’s contact tracing service, helping to minimise the risk of coronavirus transmission.

We are trialling the Check In system on board one of our Inter7City trains that will run between Glasgow and Edinburgh to Aberdeen and Inverness. Please follow the instructions to Check In wherever you see this label next to your seat.

Check In. Stop the spread. Scan the QR code with your phone camera to check in and out of this train. Unable to scan the code? Visit: checkin.scot/52677467E

Stopping the spread starts with all of us.

You can also download the Check In Scotland app to make checking in even easier.
