Club 55Club 55 runs from 9 January until 31 March 2010 and you can make as many trips as you like during this period.

To get this great deal, all you need to do is provide proof that you’re 55 or over. It really is that easy!

There are two types of ticket available:

Club 55    

  • Standard Class travel between any two stations in Scotland for only £15 return.
  • It is also valid for travel from any station in Scotland to and from Carlise and Berwick-upon-Tweed.
  • Club 55 is not subject to availability and does not need to be booked in advance.

Club 55 Premier   

  • If you want a touch of added luxury, Club 55 Premier lets you travel First Class for only £19 return on the following routes:
    • Aberdeen and Inverness
    • Aberdeen and Edinburgh/Glasgow
    • Inverness and Edinburgh/Glasgow
  • To ensure the comfort of your trip, Club 55 Premier must now be booked in advance and is subject to availability

Senior Railcard holders, as well as Disabled Persons Railcard Holders over the age of 55, get an additional bonus – a further £2.00 discount off both fares.

Special Events to Note   

  • There are major rugby matches in Edinburgh on Sunday 7 February and Saturday 13 March 2010.
  • Please note that trains to and from Edinburgh on and around these dates will be very busy and seating cannot be guaranteed.
