Open Golf

St
Andrews

With a Golflink ticket you can travel by train to Leuchars then hop on the Stagecoach bus link to the course for one great value fare.

This year promises to be even more special than ever as The Open celebrates its 150th anniversary in St Andrews.  Golfing legends both past and present have been invited to compete in a special event on the Old Course on the eve of the competition including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Seve Ballesteros and Sir Nick Faldo - a good excuse to enjoy another day of golf!

So you can relax for at least part of the day, why not leave the car behind and take Golflink? With a Golflink ticket you can travel by rail to Leuchars and pick up the connecting Stagecoach bus service from outside the station to the course for one inclusive price.

Rail tickets are available from ScotRail stations or ScotRail Telesales 08457 55 00 33 and can be used for travel between Wednesday 14 and Sunday 18 July. We will be running an enhanced service so that more people can take advantage of Golflink.

The Golf timetable is still being finalised. For full information on train times and ticket prices call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 or visit scotrail.co.uk. For full details on how to plan your journey to The Open, visit traveltotheopen.com

Tickets for the Open are available at opengolf.com. Concessionary rates are available to those aged 65 plus or between 16 and 21 years old. Juveniles will be admitted free if they apply in advance for juvenile admission ticket or if they are accompanied by a responsible adult for the day.

Mobile phones can distract players and will not be permitted within the paygates. Please do not bring your phone to the course.
