More trains means 2,250 more seats between Edinburgh and Glasgow every Sunday.

From 9th September a dozen more trains - and more than 2,250 extra seats - will run every Sunday between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The additional trains will leave Edinburgh Waverley at 08.30, 09.30, 10.30, 11.30, 21.30 and 22.30, and depart Glasgow Queen Street at 09.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 22.00 and 23.00. Click here for a full timetable.

This enhancement means there’ll be two ScotRail trains every hour. That’s all day long, on services between Edinburgh and Glasgow via Falkirk High. It’s the perfect reason to park the car, and hop on the train for a day out.
