Tatakizome // Hammer Dyeing

Tatakizome or “hammer - dyeing” is the most direct way to transfer colour from within plants straight on to fabric. In this session you can create a fabric panel, or maybe two, using flowers and leaves sourced from our immediate surroundings.

Please note that materials and tools will be provided and that the workshop involves using mild to moderate force to hammer the dye in.
