Collinsons Restaurant
Chef Stephen Collinson opened this sleek Broughty Ferry restaurant in 2012 and it has been attracting plaudits for its refined cookery ever since. Set within a modern building, the interiors continue the clean contemporary feel and service is slick. Collinsons promises elegant dining from a menu bursting with shellfish, game and premium produce that includes plenty of Scottish ingredients including smokies, local cheeses served with Aberfeldy oatcakes and mussels from the west coast.
County Clays
County Clays at Dunkeld House Hotel is the largest sporting clay pigeon range in Scotland and home to the highest shooting tower in the country. By definition, sporting clays is the art of shooting simulated game and county clays has over 50 targets to choose from. Dean Castle Country Park
Dean Castle and Country Park is a fantastic free day out for all the family. The park boasts a fantastic 14th-century castle housing collections of world importance including historic weapons, armour and musical instruments as well as beautiful woodland walks and self guided trails, an urban farm area, tearoom, gift shop and visitor centre. With an extensive annual event programme, we offer something for visitors of all ages. Some areas of the park are temporarily closed for redevelopment.
Dean Village
Dean Village was built in the 1880's as model housing for local workers. With its colourful and charming buildings it adds to the picturesque atmosphere of the area. You can walk along Dean Path and take photos of the lovely houses framed with the blue sky and the Water of Leith. The small village is extremely popular among tourists and locals: you always find someone running on the path, walking their dog, doing a photoshoot or just wandering around enjoying the refreshing spot of nature in the middle of the busy capital.
