Book train and bus travel all in one go.
Rail and bus tickets allow you to book train and bus travel together, making it easier to travel to far-flung places and get about town.
There are two main options for travel across Scotland: PLUSBUS, a bus pass to go along with your train ticket; and RailBus, which gives you a single ticket to a specific destination. You can also discover The Borders via rail and bus with our Borders Explorer, or get the most out of Edinburgh and Glasgow with our Rail and City Bus tour tickets.
The PlusBus ticket
PlusBus is a bus pass that goes with your train ticket. It gives you unlimited travel in the area around your chosen PlusBus station.
So if you wanted to get the train to Aberdeen, do some shopping, visit a friend and catch a musical at His Majesty's Theatre, you could buy a PlusBus ticket with your rail ticket and hop on and off the bus all day.
Railcard discounts also apply for PlusBus. And if you need to get the bus every day, you can even get a PlusBus season ticket.
