Super Off-Peak Tickets

Between 2 October 2023 and 28 June 2024, customers can travel at any time of the day on Off-Peak tickets. For the duration of this government-funded ‘Off-Peak fares all day long’ trial, the Super Off-Peak Day Return ticket has been withdrawn and customers will not be able to purchase these during this time. We’re doing this to provide a clear message that tickets no longer have time restrictions on when you can travel. If you have already bought a Super Off-Peak Day Return ticket for travel during the trial, this ticket will still be honoured, although the time restrictions of this ticket will still apply.

Super savings from a super ticket. Super Off-Peak Day Return tickets let you enjoy the cheapest fares on our least busiest trains, and they’re now available on more routes than ever before!

Super Off-Peak Day Return tickets are available on more than 300 journeys across Scotland so it’s always worth checking your journey on Journey Planner or the ScotRail App before you travel to see if one of these super tickets could save you money.
