The DriftersThe Drifters - Usher Hall, Edinburgh

The Drifters are now many lineups away from the original doo-wop group that had hits with 'Under the Boardwalk', 'Up on the Roof' and 'On Broadway', but they're keeping alive the flame of harmony singing under the guardianship of Tina Treadwell, daughter of their original manager.

Glasgow Comic ConGlasgow Comic Con - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Glasgow's annual celebration of comics and sequential art is open to all ages, and among the guests this year are Declan Shalvey, Frank Quitely, Tanya Roberts, Al Ewing and Dan McDaid. There's a kids' zone, and cosplayers can enter the catwalk competition.
