Come and sing Brahms' Requiem with Peebles Orchestra and professional soloists, conducted by Robert Dick.
A full day of rehearsal and performance at Peebles Burgh Hall.
Open to anyone able to read music, and interested / experienced in choral singing.
Bring your own lunch / dinner or buy from local outlets. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
9.30am-10am Registration
10am-1pm Choir rehearses with piano (includes coffee break)
2pm-3.30pm Choir rehearses with orchestra
4pm-5pm Full rehearsal with orchestra and soloists
6.30pm-7.30pm Concert performance
We are singing the original German language version, using the Peters edition vocal score.
You can bring your own vocal score, or choose to borrow a vocal score from us for a deposit of £5 (fully refunded on return of the score). Collect your borrowed scores at registration on the day.
No special dress code for singers.
