This event is part of Sharmanka's programme of monthly live performances by local and international musicians, artists and performers.
Rounding off events for the month of May at Sharmanka we welcome an exciting quartet to perform amidst Eduard Bersudsky’s marvellous mechanical sculptures.
BARE consists of Bede Williams (trumpets), Alex South (clarinets, electronics), Robin Mason (cello), and Emma Lloyd (violin, electronics). Individually they are involved in an eclectic mix of disciplines: contemporary classical, orchestral and chamber music, conducting, baroque violin, free jazz, music/dance improvisation, and multispecies musicking. Together, they focus their performances on the open-ended dynamics of uncertainty, exploring performer freedoms and constraints in an improvised framework.

The music event will be followed by a mini performance of Sharmanka's kinetic artworks. There are a limited number of tickets to fill this intimate space, so if you want to be there, the soundest advice is to book early!
