Sentimental Journey Presents: Frae’ Fife

Sentimental Journey presents ‘Frae Fife’ – a series of five matinee shows running from July to November highlighting the talents of Fife born professionals currently working within the entertainment field on an international basis. 18th July and 31st October Dunfermline’s own Clark Stewart was the youngest ever Cruise Director of the famous Queen Elizabeth II. He has shared the stage with stars such as Joe Longthorne and Susan Boyle. He is also a host of the annual Spirit of Scotland Shows in Edinburgh during the summer season. 26th September Seonaid Aitken from Glenrothes is an internationally acclaimed violinist/vocalist/arranger and composer. A sizzling violinist with a personality to match, she brings her double tribute show accompanied by Scottish top jazz guitarist Conor Smith, to legendary jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and the First Lady of Song – Ella Fitzgerald. 29th May and 21st November Bruce Davies, from Glenrothes celebrates 40yrs as a solo performer on the international stage. Hailed as one of the best vocalists ever to come out of Scotland, Bruce brings acoustic music at its best that will take you on a musical journey through Scotland and beyond. The second of his shows ‘Rhymes & Reasons’ tributes one of the most influential performers of the 1970’s John Denver. Bruce is also a host on the annual Spirit of Scotland Shows in Edinburgh.
