Avanti West Coast:

Saturday:

A reduced service will run to / from Glasgow Central, with trains diverting to run via Mount Florida.

Sunday:

A reduced service will run to / from Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

CrossCountry:

No trains will run to / from Glasgow Central. Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell, for Glasgow you should use alternative services.

LNER:

Trains that usually run to / from Glasgow Central will be amended to run to / from Edinburgh instead.

Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell. For Glasgow, you should use ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street.

ScotRail:

Saturday

Trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central via Shotts will start / terminate at Carfin. A replacement bus service will operate between Shotts and Glasgow Central. Trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central via Carstairs will be replaced by buses. Saturday and Sunday

Buses will replace trains between Lanark and Glasgow Central.

TransPennine Express:

Saturday

TransPennine Express will operate between Manchester Airport and Carlisle / Edinburgh.

Customers travelling to / from Glasgow Central should use services operated by Avanti West Coast.

Sunday

TransPennine Express will operate train services between:

  • Manchester Airport and Oxenholme.
  • Carlisle and Edinburgh.

Rail Replacement will be in operation between Oxenholme and Carlisle.
