Avanti West Coast:

Saturday:

One service every 2 hours will run between Carlisle and Edinburgh.

Sunday:

No trains will run between Lancaster / Oxenholme for Lake District and Carlisle / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Monday:

One service every 2 hours will run between:

  • Carlisle and Glasgow Central.
  • Carlisle and Edinburgh.

On Saturday and Sunday, rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Preston and Carlisle, calling at Penrith
  • Carlisle and Glasgow Central, calling at Lockerbie and Motherwell

CrossCountry:

Saturday and Sunday only:

Trains will not call at Motherwell.

Rail replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell.

LNER:

On Saturday, the 06:48 from Glasgow Central to London Kings Cross will start from Edinburgh at 08:00.

On Sunday, the 16:30 from London Kings Cross to Glasgow Central will terminate at Edinburgh.

On Monday, the 06:48 from Glasgow Central to London Kings Cross will start from Edinburgh at 08:00.

Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell, connecting with train services. For Glasgow Central, you should use other services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central.

ScotRail:

On Saturday, buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Kirknewton. Minibuses will run between Kirknewton and Edinburgh. calling at Curriehill, Westerhailes, Kingsknowe, Slateford and Haymarket.

TransPennine Express:

Saturday and Monday:

TransPennine Express train services will run between:

  • Manchester and Oxenholme.
  • Carlisle and Edinburgh (every 2 hours).
  • Carlisle and Glasgow Central (Monday only, every 2 hours).

Replacement buses will run between Oxenholme and Carlisle.

Sunday:

TransPennine Express train services will run between:

  • Manchester and Oxenholme.
  • Carlisle and Edinburgh (hourly).

Replacement buses will run between Oxenholme and Carlisle.
