Drift Presents Eloi, Nikhita & Toni Mcvey B2B Ssid

Fresh off the back of their recent remix single on DRIFT, we are pleased to welcome Eloi down to Lost in Leith for an exclusive live performance at Leith's freshest club space "Lost in Leith"!

The local 7 piece neo-soul/jazz band have been making waves in the Scottish scene with sell out gigs aplenty, heaps of radio support including from BBC Scotland as well as a main stage performance lined up at the award-winning Kelburn festival. With two seminal EPs released, the group have developed a lush, laidback sound packed with beautiful, soulful vocals, jazzy horn section and afro-beat influenced percussion. Most recently, the band released a deep house rework of their track Crysanthemum by electronic producer J Wax on the DRIFT label, giving the already stunning piece a completely new angle. For fans of Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and the new-wave of London Jazz sound, don't miss this exclusive 1 hour set from one of the most exciting bands in the Scottish scene right now.

We couldn't have wished for better support on the night, and are extremely please to add Edinburgh-based RnB singer Nikhita to the bill. Using music as a vessel for self expression and honest storytelling, Nikhita glides through enchanting melodies over R&B, Neo-Soul soundscapes. Her recent releases have received high praise from the likes of BBC Asian Network, a Track of The Week feature on BBC Introducing Scotland, and Under the Radar Artist of The Week in The Scotsman. Inspired by artists such as Joy Crookes, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Raveena, and Jhené Aiko, Nikhita creates her own sound and hopes you find solace in her art.

Finally, completing the lineup, we are pleased to welcome Toni McVey back to DRIFT for the second time after wowing us so much the first time she played. Expect all vinyl jazz funk and soul into the early hours as she plays B2B with DRIFT founder SSID.
